I heard someone once preach that there are two types of Christians. The ones that became a Christian to save themselves from Hell, and those that chose to follow Christ just because He deserves to be followed. And the category we fall into reflects our salvation.
That made me think things over for a moment. Hypothetically, even if being a Christian couldn't save you from Hell, would you still be one?

This is an excellent thought and something everyone should ponder. I think we always need to realize no matter what else there is, unconditionally He deserves our everything even before the sacrifice. The rest is just gravy on the top because our Creator also happens to love us!
